Growing up, Sara’s parents taught her and her siblings the importance of giving back and making a difference in people’s lives. That’s why she loves working at Sand Hill, where our focus is on deeply engaging with our clients to help them shape their futures and succeed.
Today, Sara combines this passion for helping people with her financial planning expertise in her work as Sand Hill’s Chief Wealth Manager. She understands how complex life can be for busy, growing families here in Silicon Valley. She specializes in helping them overcome that complexity—whether through organizing stock compensation diversification plans, getting their “financial house” in order, foreseeing what next planning steps should be, or collaborating with their other professional team members, from accountants to attorneys, to align their financial situation. Her goal is always to maximize the strategic financial and tax benefits for clients, so they can fulfill their personal interests and passions whether through entrepreneurship, executive leadership or charitable giving. In addition to helping clients who are out to change the world, Sara is a member of Sand Hill’s Investment Committee and Executive Committee, a small team charged with setting the firm’s long-term strategic course.
A mother of three, Sara has plenty to keep her busy outside of work, too. In between classes, sports, and other activities, she loves finding adventure with her family. Sara has previously been a Board Member for the Northern Nevada/Northern California chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association as well as the Board of Mission Hospice & Home Care. She sees this volunteer work as aligning perfectly with her work at Sand Hill, which is all about respecting the individual, planning for a lifetime, and recognizing a legacy.
